Yes, you can just a one-time mailing if you'd like. Or you can continue on a recurring basis. Either way, there's no commitment and is always month-to-month allowing you to cancel at anytime.

All we need from you is your contact info, company logo, and a few specifics you'd like to see in your ad. For example if you'd like to include a special offer or discount, or highlight a specific product or service. We'll then take care of the rest providing you a proof of the design to approve before it goes to print.

Once your ad along with the others on the postcard layout are complete, it takes about 10 business days to go through the printing and mailing preparations. The postcards are then mailed out to the specified routes with the local Longview post office.

A design proof for your own ad is provided for you to approve. A preview of the final layout of the entire postcard is also provided prior to going to print. A status update from the printer as well as the mailing will be provided with an estimated time period of arrival in people's mailboxes.

The goal is to have the postcard filled and completed by the 3rd week of each month. This allows approximately 10 business days to complete the printing and mailing preparations. The postcards are then delivered within the first or second week of each month.

The mailing routes are selected based on minimum income and certain zip codes to target the best audience as a whole for the businesses on the postcard. There will be a rotation of targeted routes each month to expand the exposure the postcard gets. We also often adjust the "sticky spot" info based on the zip codes. (see next question for more on our "sticky spot" info)

A standard 3x4 space on the postcard will be dedicated to community-relevant and timely information that many recipients will find valuable. This could include the Longview Lobos football schedule, Pine Tree Pirates baseball schedule, or a roundup of local events and happenings for the month. The goal is to provide useful content that encourages recipients to keep the postcard longer, whether at home or in their business.

There is a single QR Code on the postcard that will be linked to a webpage that will feature all of the business ads in digital form. Each will then have the option to be linked over to their respective webpages or links of their choice. The Digital Shoutout will be a post on the Longview Spotlight Facebook page with an optimized version of the ad and tagging the business.
